My phone is snappy after updating to oneui 3, using it since December 7th,no lag at all. I always do a hard reset through recovery after every android version upgrade.

Yes factory reset will wipe all data. I did using the stock recovery

How to do it through stock recovery? I also feel my s20 plus has become slow and battery backup is less after the update. Can you please suggest

Do a wipe catch partition
Process ⤵️⤵️⤵️
■Turn off the device.
(Copnnect with type C cable/type C earphone only for Android 11)
■Press and hold the Volume Up key and the spower button.
■When the Android logo displays, release all keys.
■Press the Volume down key to navigate and select "Wipe cache partition".
■Press Power key to select. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Select Reboot System.
■Press the Power key to restart the device
and let see
