I see this light leak in my s20, under max brightness... been 5 days since unboxing and it was now that i just noticed this...

Is this normal ? S20 users, can you confirm thjs ?

Uodate 1 : its due to a gap between the screen and the metal frame... some also say it is also due to lack of adhesive layer applied on the edges and this gap defect is seen starting from the s7 series and is not good as dust and moisture starts accumulating inside..

it has the stock screen gaurd (the one that comes with it, pre applied) on it..

but it does not cover the the edges (and also it is a very thin sheet)
so its clearly not caused by the screen protectors

i think so there is a gap between screen and body 🤔 visit the service center as soon as possible and ask for a replace the smartphone if that is possible i won't recommend the repairing the smartphone.

There is a gap between the screen and the frame

I'm going to the retail store tomorrow for a replacement... it has been just 5 days since i bought it and thank god i notice this defect... else i would have lost ip68 water and dust resistance features...

will update this post after applying for a replacement
