4k video stabilization on S7

Hi Samsung

4k video stabilization is not present on S7 .however if u compare with other phones even one plus 5 has released an update which makes the 4k video recording much better.
Why can't Samsung atleast provide EIS for 4k through software update ..you are really lagging in this area..pls improve

Where are you comparing? S7 has hardware stabilizing

But if you had researched, you would know that hardware stabilisation doesn't work on 4K video mode.

Please educate yourself about how hardware stabilisation works before making a joke out of yourself. Once you do it, repeat with me, any video recorded on S7 is hardware stabilized, 720p or 4K.

video stabilization will not work in UHD (4k) mode ..pls check the settings in video ..although hardware OIS is present ar 4k, I felt there is much room for improvement..Providing EIS also along with OIS (if possible)can make it much better

It already has Hardware OIS which is not even present on One plus 5. Stop complaining without even researching a bit about your phone.

Not sure if you are speaking only theoritically but if you ever had recorded videos at 4k in some tough situation like hiking and jogging you sure would have experienced some shake... Although OIS does a decent job for compensating hand movements,Felt that both OIS and EIS combo can make recording videos better

Samsung S7 Edge has inbuilt image stabilization at 4K (UHD) video.

However, if you don't want to sacrifice quality but you want less shaky videos you can:

1. Get a gimbal for your phone  or

2. Upgrade to a newer model from Samsung

I still use S7 Edge in 2022 for videos and I ca honestly say that I am amazed how this phone is still great for homemade videos, travel videos, etc.

I'm not an expert in cameras, but it's not possible to mask movements during running and jogging without using an external gimbal in phones
