how to hide notifications from opening on top of other apps.

how to hide notifications from opening on top of other apps. Is there a way whee we can get a notification which says "content hidden" but it will not display anthing until you click on top of it. 

For example whatsapp message pops up while watching movie. But you do not want to know what message is it. Not just whatsapp but any other messages well. 

Preview should not be shown on top os other messages...

You can set notification style to 'Silent'

where do do i find the notification style... i am not finding it in my phone ever since i tried safe mode.

if you silent the notification then you will not get the notification and you will miss the urgent or important message. I am looking for "no preview" option but notification should come without preview.

when the notification comes then you can slide it a bit and wait for snooze option to show up. You can snooze the notifications of any app for a maximum of 2 hours.

actually notification can come but if it comes with the preview then it is a problem. I am looking at an option where there is a notification which comes like a icon on the notification bar but no preview should be there with it.
