I was happily using my galaxy 8 plus.i owned my dearest 8 plus in June 2017.it was my hard earned money that I spent to get it.Every thing has spoiled this morning as I was walking through the city a man came run and accidently hit at me and my phone dear galaxy fell down and I was in a belief that since it's display is of gorilla glass nothing will happen but to my astonishment it's display was broken ,my heart also broken.dear friends is any one know whether this damaged display will be replaced at free of cost by the company since the date of purchase is just 8 months before.please advice me

gorilla glass doesnt mean it's scratch/shatter proof. its just more resistant than normal glass. expecting it to survive is a common mistake people make these days. be it any phone, its luck. I'm using my Note 8 wothout a protector just because to enjoy the screen. I take a lot of care of it but your post has scared me.

1st things first. You have broke an S8+ so you should ask in S forum not Note forum. Now if you broke the screen , it won't be repaired via the warranty. You could have used One time screen replacement offer when it was on. Now I think you are doomed.
