Galaxy Note
just to continue issues with the release of Note 7. we have had medium level issues - scratching screen with infamous gorilla 5, we have had bricked exynos versions of Note 7. we have core "Samsung Note" app with user rating below 3 in Android market. Samsung removed many features from new app. I also rated it with 1 star. We have had critical issue - burning batteries. Now, there is a smaller issue, yet it is funny.
Just look - Samsung released Note 7 in UAE in silver, gold and black colours. But S View covers released in UAE, as well as LED cover, Clear view covers are not available in Silver. instead they released blue s view cover. It is funny.
There is such a luck of attention to small details and not so small details with Note 7 and its release, that it seems that Note line is not important for Samsung. I bet there might be no Note 8. S7 edge has finished it. and with all release troubles, Samsung clearly did not pay attention to development of the phone (they have put 8 month old internals of S7 Edge into Note 7, including the same battery, but failed to make old components work flawlessly - it blows up)
so why have not silver colour covers been released in UAE properly? Why have we been given silver phone and no silver cover and blue covers but no blue phone?
This question is beyond my comprehension. I can only scratch my head and laugh.

you can keep your guesses to yourself. this forum was created for complaints. It is not a place to chat about weather.
I will keep on writing until I receive clear, professional and straightforward answer. release of this phone has been nothing short of disaster.
US FAA authority is reviewing if they should ban Note 7 aboard any plane in the US.
culprit is defective battery in 70 % of the phones with Samsung SDI batteries, I.e. all phones released outside of China (Chinese version uses ATL battery from chinese vendor).
Samsung handling of issue is terribly wrong. They acknowledged the fact the batteries are faulty, yet stated "they are still intensifying possible batches". Guess what - it means any phone is at risk. They could not have traced it via BOMs/records. therefore Samsung should have issued a clear and honest statement - the phone shall be returned to them immediately. They would have done it , but only when replacement stocks are available. otherwise people would have taken money back immediately and changed it to another brand.
if it was for faulty memory, screen - anything that does not burn or blows up, burning hotel room like recently in Australia, or God forbids, a plane - I would not care.
but such a critical lack of quality control over a number 1 part of concern (lithium battery) in a phone, adding the fact this battery and internals are the same old S7 Edge staff...there should be no excuses and Samsung support staff should be answering all inquiries in here, honestly.
in fact they should be revoked certification for all phones using batteries supplied by Samsung SDI, massive investigation shall be launched by certification bodies in EU, US, UAE, other countries and all their sales stopped until it is proven what is wrong with the design and manufacturing process and how it is fixed.
the mess with the release of cases of wrong colors, only proves business processes are far from being managed and controlled properly. It is all bits of the same issue.
Burning phones = hazard. As simple as that. and I won't be going lightly about it.

So the shop owners who are selling the phones and the wrong coloured covers do not have to answer to anyone? You should complain to them, can't see how it is a Samsung problem. My country the shop owners provide all the colours to match!

because all original covers are supplied by Samsung to all stores. Samsung own store in the Mall of the Emirates has the same choice of wrong colors.
