Why is 3 Years of Updates so hyped?

We all saw the news of 3 years of OS upgrades promised on new Flagship galaxies.

BUT, why is this so hyped up?

Looking at iOS, this support is laughable. Instead of hailing Samsung for finally opening their eyes, criticize them for taking so long and yet not providing at least 4 years of support.

Android must up the game ASAP because iOS is getting Android features with the best application performance at comparable prices. The more features iOS gets like Android, the easier switching becomes. 

Samsung must make 3 years mandatory for midrangers and 4 years for flagships (with 5 years security updates).

because iOS is developed by Apple but Android is not developed be Samsung. Apple can easily integrate their OS but Samsung will take extra energy to optimize

Samsung is the world's biggest OEM (not anymore though lol) and they must be able to provide class leading support.

Android doesn't limit your software policy.

It's the manufacturers themselves. Samsung can still take the latest version of Android and skin it according to specific devices.

That's the reason why even 5 year old phones run Android 10 on custom ROMs.

Google will handover the vanilla Android base for developers to work on.

The OEMs must grow the hell up and get the thing right for OTAs

and any companies or individual when do anything first time or some unusual things then it gets hype
and bro don't compare anything to other
otherwise no limit.
as regarding individual persons or companies or anything if you compare then one is always better then other even if u compare two bad things then also one is come to better than other
