The Galaxy Note 8 needs a software update !

When you go to network settings you can't specify only LTE /4g so the phone determines the network according to network strength which never lets you use your networks 4g if your network also has 2g and 3g !! as 3g and 2g signals are stronger then 4g so you get 3g or 2g always instead of 4g !! this is irritating !!!

Who said 3g is stronger than 4g? It depends which band they are deployed in. The lower frequency band the stronger the network. Like jio's 4g on 800 mhz is stronger than airtel's 2g on 900 mhz

I know the less the wavelength the more penetration it gets but I am talking of an operator which has both 3g and 4g ! everyone doesn't use jio secondly similar problem existed on the iPhone 6 when it came out where you couldn't determine yourself and the phone did the job for you after a software update it was fixed ! I hope the note 8 get an software update to fix this!

The phone keeps on switching to 3G as I cannot determine my self manually to use 4G only as there is no option for the same !!!!

No I mean there should be individual 4g like there is for 3g and 2g as you can see in the screenshot above

first of all select lte/3g/2g and then press back button then reopen the option there should be only lte option
