Galaxy NoteI'm new to Samsung devices, don't know how the firmwares work here, with Sony it was an easier process.

Galaxy NoteRefresh rate says
how quick your led can turn on and off cycle... for EG: 60hz=16.66 m sec of ON-OFF cycle and 120hz=8.33m sec of ON-OFF cycle.... if the panel can resist the higher frequency then its all about the circuit clock which needs to be tweaked to bump the refresh rate..... Most probably High quality LED panels are cable for higher refresh rate if here is a chance of high heat dissipation(more surface area greater the heat dissipation)... Where as this is not possible with the LCD's because the liquid crystal needs to he designed properly to adjust to that very low ON-OFF cycles which is again an another story..... long story short "IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET HIGHER REFRESH RATE ON NOTE 9:)"
