Galaxy Note-settings>>Accessibility>>Hearing>>Mute all sound>>Enable and Disable.
-check by changing the device Ringtone.
- Disable the Dolby Atmos and check for the Ringtone sound.

Galaxy NoteAll settings are normal and ringtone also comes but the loudness is low comparing to my previous samsung mobiles.

Galaxy NoteI had this problem too - this fixed it for me:
Settings --> Sounds and Vibration --> Volume --> the slider for "Ringtone" was turned almost all the way down. I slid it all the way to the right, and my ringer volume increased by like 10x. Finally no more missed calls!
