Phone getting hanged after screen unlock

I'm using a galaxy note 20ultra for last 2years
Recently whenever i unlock my screen via fingerprint
There comes a lag in transition from lock screen to home screen
The screen gets dark ,hangs for a second and gets me on the lock screen again



Today I've been facing another issue when the fingerprint scanner don't work though it was showing .

I locked the phone and tried 2nd time than the fingerprint worked


What's happening ?

Is this any software bug?
I've recently updated to one ui 5.1

Having the same problem on two devices. Problem it's the 2 year anniversary approaching when Samsung wants us to buy new phones.

It's interesting how those errors with no solutions comes up right after software updates...

Check space availability:

Is there sufficient space available on your device?
Kindly check the space on your device:
Path: Settings > Device Care >Storage

To improve the device performance there should be sufficient space. Request you to keep at least a ''minimum 20% internal memory free''.

Kindly check RAM in your device:-
Path: Settings>Device care>Memory.

To improve the performance RAM of the device should be free. So, clear the RAM memory once a day.
Check app cache
Does the device hang while accessing any particular Application/Game etc?

Please follow the below steps
1- Clear app cache through Device care:

Step1: Navigate to the app's screen and tap on Settings.
Step2: Tap on Device care.
Step3: Tap on Storage.
Step4: Tap on CLEAN NOW.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).

If you have extra dim feature turned on, then turn it off.
My same problem was solved by doing this.
I'm using S23FE
