Notifications Issue post One UI 5 update

Yesterday i updated my Note 10 lite to one UI 5.

There is a bug in this version wherein by default notifications for whatsapp are disabled. 

When i am trying to enable the same from settings. It is not saving my response to enable the notifications.

This is very frustating not getting whatsapp notifications. 

I have attached the video of the same.

Looks like i will have to wait till the next update to get this fixed😤

Looks like samsung apps have bugs everywhere

Yess, click on 3 dots
And select system apps, it showing
But its not working if turn on also

After installing nov 1 security patch, from today morning

When i am opening 'App info' for whatsapp it is not showing 'Notifications' option

While the same option is coming for all other apps

I start today with the same issue, no notifications, no option to enable in settings/notifications... its not even show whatsapp to enable it, and if i go to info it is not showing notification option at all

for me I cant even have permition to use camera or photos even if in the app info everything is with the permition

This happened with me too on s20fe 5g. Updating whatsapp seems to have fixed the issue.

Yes, It is resolved post update.
Post update it asks you to enable notifications on next launch.
