Its Govt who needs to take strong action against such scamsters, these fraudsters should be taught a lesson so that they dont dare to sell these **bleep** devices in the future.

There are many things govt should be doing right like banning Samsung for not providing charger (Brazil govt fined Samsung and Apple for this) or give hybrid SIM Slot so consumers can choose to have 2nd SIM or SD card. Consumers didn't had the idea of SA or NSA network but Samsung should have been clear in this part

100%. They are just using these tactics to keep their sale ongoing, so that customer has less liberty to use his right to repair as well as he has to invest in multiple devices for multiple sim cards, hence more business to these companies.
