New Messages app

I noticed, in A8 star, the new version of messages app. 5.0.20.28. While in Note 8, it is 4.40 something.

Isn't Note 8 a flagship phone which should have the latest Samsung apps atleast.

It has inbuilt voice messaging similar to whatsapp, sticker support etc
