Galaxy Note
Note series are known to be loaded with all latest tech and features in the market.
most Developed nations are now using andriod apps to control their Gadgets but here in india we still depend on our IR remotes to use TV,Air conditioner, music systems and appliances.
when other companies like lenovo are providing IR blaster for 20k why can't a note 8 for approx 70k provide it ?
this is very useful in day to day life.
a purpose a smartphone must solve!

It's not a update man, it's a manufacturing defect and don't say same answer to all.

People who want IR blaster are a very small percentage among the customer base. Samsung got rid of IR blaster since S7 to make space for expanded storage/dual sim hybrid system.
