With Android 11, Google intriduced a entry in developer options to install GSI from Google's public GSI repository. Also, devices launched with A10 need to include Google's public AVB keys into ramdisk to allow DSU without bootloader unlock but there seem to be no clue if any of those are supported in Note20. Samsung, could shed some light why the option is missing here? It should be right after "Auto update system". Know samsung is not a dev friendly device but why go so far to hide such dev options too?

Not only Samsung, any OEM you see has not provided this feature afaik. The reason is they do not want you to try a new OS without their custom skin on top. This is currently limited to Pixel devices only or maybe in some stock Android devices.

Not really. To pass Treble CTS, any device launching with A10 or above must boot a GSI signed with Google public key. With CTS, basically, the phone is as good as a AOSP build with Google's device certification going bonkers.

Note 20 does support GSI but the question is, did Samsung deliberately went out of the way to just remove the DSU entry or just pulled off the entire DSU feature which nobody knows at the moment.

They simpley pulled off the feature. Don't worry, Samsung is famous for removing base Android features.
