GPay issue after change of esim from physical sim

Hi All, I am using note 20 ultra and changed my Airtel physical sim to esim. But after that i couldnt able to use the google pay, because it cant able to verify the esim. did anyone of you facing this issue?
Please help me to resolve this issue. Thanks

Yeah I write mail to them and chat with Google pay help and support team, but they asked me get a physical SIM. that's is the solution from them. Didn't expected that reply from them.

I got physical SIM which I linked to my bank , now gpay is working fine. But I am using jio esim, while try to verify I need to off the esim and then only gpay able to verify the physical SIM, otherwise it's keep on throwing error like "Insert SIM to register". So, if you have esim in your mobile and whether it's linked to your gpay or not, GPay will not verify the SIM. It's like a bug.

you need to have physical sim, with eSIM gpay will not work

I had same issue for my Pixel 4a. I reached out to Airtel Support and they helped out.
Seems like the first SMS which helps you set the account does not get sent when you change to esim for airtel.

The solution provided to me by Airtel Support was to

Dial *#5005*7672# and restart once the USSD Code running completed.

It worked for me.

you can dial that same number and try or you can reach out to Airtel Support.
