[FIXED!!!] Samsung Note 9 - Display Discoloration

Good day, Samsung Note 9 Users.

I've been experiencing also screen discoloration on my note 9 for months but I've found a simple solution. No need to install third party app for temporary fix as it may damage the screen permanently. All you need to do is ACTIVATE your "ALWAYS ON DISPLAY" and set to always ON. 

Ensure that "always on display" already appeared on the screen(with slight delay) before turning on your screen. That's it! Hope this helps but it's just still temporary.

To SAMSUNG, hope you can find ways to permanently fix this.

Samsung you guys really messed it up and still dont take responsibility. This is a worldwide issue ever since that update. Take responsibility!

Don't know when will they fix .

I will keep posting till they resolve their own created issue . 

Some times companies do deliberately  so users buy new models of their mobiles

Hi there, i would love to share my experience on this discoloration issue.

My Samsung Galaxy Note 9 just suddenly fixed it self!

I don't know what happened but my screen discoloration is not showing anymore for almost 2 months now...

For almost 2 years, i've used the "always on display" and installed screen saver app and the screen calibration app even though i've read that those apps have bad effect on my screen. But still i used those two apps anyway just to make the screen visibly usable even i'm experiencing discoloration at the moment...

Then last early May 2022, just suddenly my discoloration is not showing anymore.

I'm facing the same problem. If I unlock phone by clicking power button then display become discolor and if I wake the phone by double touching the screen then it gives original color. Again when I call it becomes discolor.but then if I continue to use the phone it doesn't discolor. Very disgusting problem I'm facing now.

Same problem with my a8 2018+. Making the screen brightness %100 is the only fix, but after locking the phone, it continues again. So there is no permanent fix.  In the AOD, the whole screen discolours. Like everyone says it's a software issue. Shame they didn't fix by already.
