Dear Samsung team,

I know You may have seen this problem already in

community forum by many other galaxy Note 9 Users.

I'm also facing this issue from last 3 months. I have waited by thinking that in next software update, may be bug will be removed but it isn't.

Initially, when I unlock phone by pressing power button the display was changed to dim yellowish color and with horizontal lines displayed.

Then I have to keep my phone aside for some time to get back to normal display. It's been 15 to 20 min then.

Now, I would get normal display only in morning. Else, I need to keep my phone idle without touching for at least 6 to 8 hours.

After searching in community and google I have got to know that Many other users also facing the same issue after updating software.

This problem could be seen on many devices like Note 10, S8 and many other galaxy devices. Its not common problem which can be seen on one or two devices, It is happening in entire world.

Its already reported in many websites like #GSM Arena, #PhoneArena, #AndroidAuthority, #9to5Google and #SamMobile However, we didn't here any word from our company #Samsung about this issue.

I am living in ahmedabad and visited multiple Customer cares for this issue but Samsung has very useless staff that they are even not ready to understand the words what customer is saying. They are already trained by the experts that if anyone come with this issue directly told them to Change their display as this is display issue. They Experts even can't understand that the pricing of 70,000 INR customer is not paying for the issue created by the company. and even like 5000 INR rupees phone haven't face display issue in just 1.5 to 2 years.

I know without any specific guidelines from Samsung officially service center guys would surely say its display problem and you need to replace the display which will cost about 19 or 20K for each individual. I am clearly telling here that I will not pay any single rupee for the issue happened in my phone due to company fault. I need solution on urgent basis.

I am writing and escalating this issue in Samsung higher authority as well as in consumer forum. I will wait for some days if issue doesn't resolve then i will go for legal action also.

@Samsung need to respond on this issue and they must answer these questions to their customers.
If problem persists in one or two devices randomly we can accept that.

Waiting for the prompt positive response.

This is a big problem for Note 9 series. This discoloration occurs due to the overburning of the individual pixels in Amoled panels. Due to their burning overtime, this creates a mark behind the damaged LEDs. That's why the Lines are formed in your device. My advice is to keep your mobile in FHD. Don't change it to QHD.

Hello,

The same issue I am also facing after the software update even there is no damage to the display.

I am not sure what is the fundamental idea here by Samsung. How come the display issue will come automatically? Is it forced to do something to the customer's phone? I think this is a serious issue. The higher management should know about it.

Even I am not getting any conclusion after reaching out to the support team.
