Samsung s9+ display issue After the software update in March 2020(Greenish,discoloration,blacklines)

Dear Samsung Team,

 

The screen started lagging, showing discoloration with yellow and green tinting and horizontal closely spaced black lines showing up on display. My telephone was in the same condition as of new phone. However it is out of warranty. Some Samsung s9+ user has Discoloration of the Screen and Samsung is not taking any responsibility. I sent my phone to the service but they said samsung is not an exchange program. the problem appeared after the update(i think march 2020) and this was exactly when my warranty expired. When I use it with always on display, the screen works.So I thought it was a software problem, but this problem has not been solved for months. my phone just came from the samsung service, so I'm not in any expectation. I am writing this article to inform samsung users. It seemed a little malicious to me to encounter something like this exactly when my phone was out of warranty.

 

samsung turkey team did not help me related to this problem. the problem is being done in other countries guarantee free exchange .

I also encoutered the discoloration yesterday. I tried rebooting, deleting of cache partition, reset factory setting but none solved the issue.. my note 9 is 2 years old only.. no dent or physical damage.. 

 

I tried reading in google play books and the resolution is backed to normal, but when i go back to the menu the discoloration came back.

 

It's really disappointing.. hope samsung will fix this asap if thru another software update or FOC repair service.

I have been dealing with this problem for months and samsung has not helped me. They said my warranty is over. I don't think the warranty and lifetime are the same. I will sell my phone and other Samsung products as soon as possible. i will never even pass samsung in the future.

When I showed them video evidence, they said they couldn't help with this issue. indians with same problem get free exchange. You can watch it on youtube my dear friend.

I am very sorry for you my friend. solution center did not help me. They acknowledged there was a problem, but they said their device's warranty was over. My suggestion to you is to contact Samsung and they are applying different procedures in different countries. they changed out of warranty in india.

please. can anyone help me. my s9 plus display has discoloration. one update I have done yesterday and from today morning I faced this problem. I did hard reset, cache clear, safe mode, but it has same problem. please help me

Go to service centre, i myself was facing this issue and i got resolved, they have changed my display at free of cost. you should firstly inform this to Samsung Support and please have a chat with Samsung Service Centre manager. They have notified regarding this issue and they are bonf to do that after physical verification.

I talked to the samsung service and solution team. They said that there is no exchange program on this issue in my country. Nothing has changed, although I stated that it was in other countries.
