Charging Issue

My phone isn't charging after reaching 65-70%. Usually it takes 1.2hrs to full charge but, now even after 2 hrs it's still at 70%. I'm using cable and adapter which were along with the handset in the box. More often charger also disconnects and connects. There might not be any loose connections becoz I'm using same cable and adaptor and also tried at different sockets.

What could be the issue.

Did it start happening after a software update?

I did last update yesterday. I have been facing this issue for last 10-15 days

Try these troubleshooting steps
Try the following steps
Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage and Memory

Clear the cache of one ui home
