Yes, there is a chance that your warranty will effect. But trust me, if anything happens during testing phase. You can visit service center and ask ro flash a fresh software.
In the end, all it matters is links and contacts. If you have then go for it if don't then i suggest you to wait for a few weeks till second beta release. Their will be lots of important improvement for sure.
