Always on Display

Is there any way so that I can remove the clock of always on display and only put fingerprint icon

I dont want always on display but I only need the fingerprint icon so that I can unlock easily.

If device not compatible with Good Lock, then you can try Nice Lock...

Else Third-party AOD software 😐... I have not tried AOD and Optical FP at the same time...

Third party AODs eat battery very drastically as per my experience (I have <4000mAh, so 4-5% matters)... So i don't use those ... 😬

You can use ClockFace, a Good Lock module. No 'jugaad'.

I know that but samsung have to give the proper option in clock style menu. We techy people know about clockface but what about others? Why we have to create a blank clock? Samsung have to give the option to turnoff clock in alway on display

AOD is to give some very basic information at glance, like time and battery level. That's why there is no built-in method to remove those. If people don't want them, they can turn OFF AOD.

Anyone who likes customising his device, will install Good Lock module (or its alternatives) by default. So Samsung chose to leave it upto the users.
