Samsung releases software updates periodically. Software updates provide new features and more security for your device. Samsung recommends keeping your device's software up to date and backing up any important data before updating the software.
Check for software updates
Step 1. Go to Settings > tap Software update.
Step 2. Tap Download and install.
Step 3. If new software is available, you can choose to install now or schedule installation.
