True caller dialer is shiit. Use samsung dailer as default, then you'll see recording option in the three dot menu in the top right

Why blame Samsung when you use third party app ?

U r using truecaller app. Samsung considers this as a 3rd party app. Use the default caller id. Of samsung everything will start working well, infact if u have jio then video calling is also possible. Enjoy. I also agree with u that truecaller is convinent to use, but if you want something then some sacrifice has to be made.

If you want call recording, you have to use the default phone dialer.
Go to default phone app, call settings, there you can configure call recording settings.
