To resolve the issue please follow the below mentioned steps:
>Kindly go in Setting > Google > Location > Enable > Location method > High accuracy.
>Open play store/galaxy app > search Google maps in search box > tap on Google maps > update (if available).
>Go to Setting > Apps > Google maps > Storage > Clear Data > Delete > tap on Back key > Force Stop.
For further assistance, register your concern in Samsung members app(Open Samsung members app>click on “+“icon>send feedback>Error report/ Ask Questions).

Galaxy MI have tried all options as above mentioned,
while going on the wheels with in city my device gps signal lost multiple times. I stopped relying on this device
it's always ask me to calibrate the gps.

Galaxy MI had to remove the rear cover and the upper plastic plate that includes the antennas.
Using a fine and small file I managed to scuff up the contacts where the antennas contact the PCB.
This completely fixed my GPS issues.
Looks like manufacturing defect to me.
