If you don't use then turn it on,
As it not only reduces and increases the brightness of the screen according to available light, but it also saves your battery.

Oh.........
Your phone uses the Front Camera as the light sensor. That is why it is draining the battery.
Then You should turn it off.
Firstly, I didn't knew that because My Phone has a separate light&proximity sensor, so it doesn't drain my battery.

camera light sensor also use in faceunlock and for few other things too

yes that true but from off adpitve brightness I can save some more battery....and adaptive not working properly... ......

Just compare battery with Adaptive brightness and no adaptive brightness
