Those are same, only differences between automatic and manual. But you can save battery power more by disallowing background activity of frequently used apps.
To do that "Tap & Hold" the frequently used apps then go to App info>battery> then turn off "Allow background activity".

If you want high power saving then make it on Adeptive power saving ON as well as Maximum power saving ON.
