Galaxy MF62 model performs all tasks without lags. Its biggest flaw is how its consuming battery. Software optimization is very poor.
I had made a detailed message via Samsung Member phone app on this issue of the battery drain, after which the app does not work anymore. Neither the post was uploaded to this site. I have to recreate the message.
The battery was at 94% at 10pm.
1) All apps were closed.
2) Wifi and mobile data was off.
3) UI software update was disabled.
4) All sensors like location, typing vibration, any gyro enabled function, adaptive screen brightness etc were disabled.
5) Screen brightness is a kept at almost the lowest level.
6) Screen always on is disabled.
7) no google/ samsung discover screen in home UI left side panel.
8 ) Samsung Pay and Pass are disabled, no swipe gestures.
9) No swipe gestures, only the double tap for screen on/off and screen shot is enabled.
10) Customized and marketing settings across Samsung apps are disabled.
11) Never used Bixby, never set, just like hey google or anything like that.
12) Screen animations are switched off.
13) Device care found every was good.
14) Power saving mode was selected and screen was tapped off.
By morning 7 am, the battery reading level was at 81%. 13% dropped in 9 hrs. The screen on time was 0 minutes. No calls, no messages during the night.
Under battery settings> battery usage> last 7 days> NO apps were running to consume 13% battery with Zero SoT.
>>>Later found that under Battery>Automation> Adaptive power saving is grey Out. It is finding the Power saving mode is still active, but its not. Restarted the phone and still the option is greyed out.
Sometime later apps like Samsung Pay, Galaxy Store which was not used has popped up. These background activities are not recorded in any battery optimizing settings. After integrating Samsung user sign in for all services, its automatically running in the background without user interaction even if they are not wanted.
Samsung Browser drains battery as much as Google Chrome. No there is no difference in battery usage between the two.
Like I mentioned, the phone is operating fine, no heating issues like some user reported. All apps are running smoothly and no lags.
Identifiable issues:
1) The phone and UI is not optimized for battery
2) none of the Power saving option works
3) No option to change to lower screen resolution
4) Make Samsung sign in for Samsung apps or services an individual process. Only when user opens the specific app the sign-in and its own process should start
5) Add calculator to quick panel
6) Add long press on Recent soft key for screen shot and additional long screen shot as a sub-option. Present implementation of Swiping edge of palm for screen shot interferes with the active app on screen.
7) Able to get into recovery mode by Pressing Volume up + Power button to manual reset the phone or to wipe cache memory.
8 ) Carrier Aggregation update!

Galaxy MHow to get into recovery mode? Need to manually clear cache partition and then reset the phone for further troubleshooting.
What I did:
- Switched off the phone
- Pressed Volume Up + Power keys
- Released the keys after Samsung logo came up
another try :
- Switched off the phone
- Pressed Volume Up + Power keys
- When Samsung logo appeared, Continued to press Volume up and released power key
Also tried:
- Switched off the phone
- Pressed Volume Up + Power keys
- Continued to press
None of them helped to get to recover screen
What's the correct method?

Galaxy MThere are no games or unnecessary apps on the phone.
The top apps that show up in the battery usage list:
Samsung browser, members, pay (which should not be active as its not configured), UI One, Google Play services, Yahoo mail, Samsung Keyboard, Youtube, a telecom App few others etc
Deep sleep is enabled with no apps marked off as an issue. Device care finds no issues with any apps. The most recent one was Samsung browser as not responding.

Galaxy MThe adaptive power option was grey out due to a Nested option under Power saving mode > Limit apps and home screen < which by explanation do the same steps I did earlier by removing side panels and dark theme mode.
It shows that the CPU was limited to 70%.
Seems these settings don't help.
