Follow this steps:

1) Power Off your phone completely (You will feel a vibration when it is done).

2) Connect your device to an other device (Like other phone, Laptop or PC) through USB cable and wait until charging animation shows.

3) Press Volume Up + Power button simultaneously and Keep holding the buttons until your device's Recovery mode opens.

4) Then Use Volume Up and Down button to locate Wipe Cache Partition option.

5) Use power button to press the the wipe cache partition button.

Follow the steps carefully, you did something wrong. I already tried this before writing this post and it is 100% working and my device is also Galaxy M35 5G.
Probably the button pressing timing is not perfect for your case. The mentioned buttons should be pressed at same time otherwise it will not work. Also if your devices connection is weak with other device it will not work, check the USB cable.

You need to let go of the Volume up and power button as soon as android appears on the screen
