I have never used samsung devices before, but I always heard that these phones are great, and people also forbade me to buy iphones because of the limitations. In 2021, I bought samsung galaxy tab A7. Except performance issues, all other functions were very good. I became the fan of samsung devices. The performance issues were not their fault anyways. Because of the features, i bought a samsung Phone (this device) late 2023. I thought it might have more features than the tablet, but I found that many fatures are separated between tablets and phones. Ok, i didn't mind. One day, while I was working with the backup of the data of the secure folder, i suddenly found that I can only restore data, but can't back up. It was my first shock. However, another day i saw that on the web of smartthingsfind, they also removed the phone unlocking feature. This was more shocking with the risk of losing personal data incase if i cannot unlock it. Another day till now, i saw that they also removed the access for the data folder !! This was way too much this time. I want to assure you that i am a minecraft player. So i have to move, remove or copy any world or any type of similar items sometimes. Infact, there is an application called "buildings for minecraftpe" which allows me to place any kind of structures in my own world anytime. Because of this annoying so called "security patch update", i cannot do both work now. For many gamers like me, it is another name of hell. This is the most annoying thing since the update. And in fear of the update, i even didn't update my old tablet. no matter how much security do i have, but how much i can use my own personal data matters a lot. They say "to protect your data, choose another folder" i mean which data of mine do you mean if i cannot modify or use my own data whenever i want? What's the meaning of it? Now i have to use expensive computers if i have to access it? If these continues, then how can a person differ a samsung phone from an iphone? These days, people use iphones only for showoff, but people used samsung phones for many usefull works. Now i also heard that they will slowly remove sd card slot from the phone, which is an another name of making the life harder. Because how many people has plenty amount of time to download - upload again and again? Besides, we easily used sd card to use all of the contents of the sd card instantly on another phone. If this cycle continues, many people like me might change their mind for the future. Stop it before it gets worse, i want my old samsung features back where i can seemlessly edit my data, use the backup feature of secure folder and i can use an sd card to expand or transport data easily, and finally i can use the remote unlocking feature as like before. IT'S NOT ONLY MY WANT, THESE ALL FEATURES WANT EVERYONE WHO ARE ADVANCED USERS, BRING THEM BACK !!!
