Try one thing,long press on any app and drag it to your device screen..you will see app opens in pop up view

Click on edit pen at bottom and add more apps..

now long press on message app and hold/drag it at the same time

Okay now i figured how to bring out Edge Panel, i didn't know how to do that🙆🏻‍♂️😆
Next, I wanna ask why am i only getting two options (Switch, Add App Pair in Edge Panel), how can i dismantle split screen?

Ahh i got it now. If i drag it in middle it opens as a pop-up with more options (expand, contract,etc) and if i drag it away from middle, it opens in Split screen. with currently opened app. AWESOME!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! 🥂🎊🙋🏻‍♂️

Edge panel is a really helpful feature. You can add direct calling option from edge panel, calculator, calendar, apps and different tool is available for edge panel.
