Galaxy MPotential Causes
1. *PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) issues*: Extra Dim mode often uses PWM to reduce screen brightness. However, some devices might not implement PWM correctly, leading to screen blinking or flickering.
2. *Display driver problems*: The display driver might be malfunctioning or not optimized for Extra Dim mode, causing the screen to blink.
3. *Hardware limitations*: The screen's hardware might not be capable of maintaining a stable brightness level in Extra Dim mode, resulting in blinking.
4. *Software bugs*: There could be a software bug or glitch causing the screen to blink when using Extra Dim mode.
5. *Power saving features*: Some devices have aggressive power-saving features that might cause the screen to blink or dim excessively when using Extra Dim mode.
Troubleshooting Steps
1. *Adjust PWM settings*: If your device allows it, try adjusting the PWM settings or disabling PWM altogether to see if it resolves the issue.
2. *Update software*: Ensure your device is running the latest software version, as updates often include bug fixes and improvements.
3. *Disable power-saving features*: Try disabling power-saving features or adjusting their settings to see if it resolves the issue.
4. *Use a different screen mode*: Try using a different screen mode, such as Reading mode or Night mode, to see if the issue persists.
5. *Contact manufacturer support*: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, contact your device's manufacturer support for further assistance.
I hope this helps you identify and potentially resolve the issue!
These are general causes and solutions. You have to choose what is the best fit for your phone model.
