Scheduled power on/off

Many Android custom UIs give feature of scheduled power off/ on.

Like you can set you device to automatically power off at 10 pm and automatically turn on at early morning 6 am.

This is so useful and power saving feature.

Wonder why samsung doesn't include this in One UI.

Security risk or any other explanation? How?

Hauwei has that feature before I switched to sumsung I used it a lot

This also does same it says>>to optimize and run functions smoothly this will automatically turn restart your device<<< thats what it says this is the only ome feature in sam thats shutsdown phone and restarts it for phone safety like virus atttacks

Restart means it will turn off and immediately turns on back. So it can not schedule turn off/on to battery save

Even my pc doesnt turn off automatically we need to press shutdown or restart then it will do as u said but one day will come like u said when we would tell>>ai please turn off my phone to save my battery ai will turn off device and when we want to on device ai just power on my device ai will turn on our phone

Scheduled power off/on feature is already there and have been there for years in some custome uis.
I am telling you ut there in EMUI 8.

Good huawei has done good job of introducing this feature but i dont think so people will get impressed by this feature as it use more power or battery to shut phone down and then to restart the powerful snapdragon phones this will take more power than usually keeping phone turned on im telling this because when usually update comes phone shutsatomatically and enter into recovery mode to install software that time it uses power than usual and what if you want to urgently call someone in your phone while this shutdown period then u need to restart the phone na so this feature that huwaei whatever company introduced is useless feature

Also about battery saving my a54
Has bigger battery has powersaving mode too battery life max two days how much more do i want then aboyt my IQoo z7 pro stays for three days in normal mode in monster mode max 4 days

You raised some really good points. However,
1. A phone automatically turns off at say, 11 pm, and automatically turns on at 6 am in the morning, it will reaming off for 7 hours that will save more battery than any other mode (be it flight, silent or greyscale)

2.Moreover the power consumption for turning on the phone after 7 hours will still not that much in comparison to phone kept on for 7 hours.
3. If I set it, to be off during my sleep, how can I want to calling in my dreams.
This as simple as you and ur phone go to sleep at night and get awake in morning.

Appreciate your idea actually companies should introduce something like this in near future in all devices and how about if these same companies increase the battery to upto 10000amh 😉 in future wats your thought
