Scheduled power on/off

Many Android custom UIs give feature of scheduled power off/ on.

Like you can set you device to automatically power off at 10 pm and automatically turn on at early morning 6 am.

This is so useful and power saving feature.

Wonder why samsung doesn't include this in One UI.

Security risk or any other explanation? How?

Lol, there is a great feature by Samsung, "Modes and Routines". Try to utilize it the way most Samsung users do. Check my way of doing. I hope it'll help you

However this is really not the alternate to the scheduled power off/on

It'll make no sense after all. Powering off & on will take much power for all the processes to keep the phone up. If your phone is in flight mode, then it can save 2-3% battery overnight but with Powering off, it can save 2% more.
So, this way you'll be happy after saving 2% battery 😅

Turning off the phone saves more bettery than keep it in flight mood.
In flight, only the networks are gone, the whole UI is awaken.
I don't think that can save more battery in comparison to power off.

I am with Huawei tablet mediapad 5 m lite (purchased 4 years back)
This runs on EMUI 8.
It's has this feature and saves lot of battery.

Me use three devices infinix zero 30,iqoo 12 and galaxy a54 as my daily driver the moment i saw ur post i checked three of them there is no such feature
