I have a Samsung M55s purchased last year. The camera app is getting crashed as soon as i try to open it. The camera app is also not opening for any app which uses it like whatsapp, facebook, adobescan, etc
I have tried to use it in safe mode but it still does not opens.. I have run diagnostics and app crashes there too.. Inhave tried clearing cache and memory bit to no avail.. Kindly provide resolution

Did you tried factory reset or other camera apps, if other camera works means then proceed wipe cache partition or go to service center

factory reset is not done yet.. trying to find other solution.. camera do not opens through any other app..

Please perform the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps, these may help in resolving your concern.

● Check RAM in your device: Settings > Battery and device Care > Memory.

● Check app cache: Settings > Device care > Storage > CLEAN NOW.

● Close Background Apps.

● Remove third-party applications.

● Remove memory card: Apps > Settings > Device maintenance > Storage > More option > Storage settings > SD card > Unmount.

● Remove third-party accessories.

● Keep your apps updated: Galaxy Store apps: Open Galaxy Store, tap the Menu (the three horizontal lines), in the upper left corner, and then tap Updates. From here, you can either tap the circling arrow next to individual apps to update one at a time or tap Update All to install all available updates.

Play Store apps: Open the Play Store, tap, and then tap your profile picture. Tap My apps & games. From here, you can either tap Update next to individual apps or tap Update All to install all available updates.

● You can reset your device by following the steps:
1. Kindly create a data backup of your device via the SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
2. Remember the Google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
3. If you do not remember the password then advise to reset (Forgot password) your Google account.

Path: Settings> General Management.>Reset>Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup>After backup tap on Factory data reset to reset your device to its factory default settings. This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps.

software updated on 07 june but still same issue persists. apart from factory reset I have tried almost everything... if factory reset is a sure shot solution only then i am willing to proceed.. as the backup is gonna take a lot of time
