I have also started facing the touted "Hang and Auto Restart issue" since 30th July.
Hadno issue with device from the past 1.5 years from the date of purchase.
This issue started happening all of sudden even though there was no damage to the device.
Moreover, I hadn't triggered any system or app updates recently.
It started happening while i was on a call.
Not able to use the phone properly.

Thought, updating the system might resolve the issue. Even after updating, the issue still persists.

FYI, Auto restart at set times was already disabled.
Facing the issue in safe mode as well.

Device is now out of warranty.
Since its a known hardware issue in devices with exynos chipset. So it must be a manufacturing defect.

Kindly suggest on a fix and help me fix my phone.

Hi,
From this community I found a temporary solution to be use the device for sometime "to turn on power saving mode."
Somewhat helpful to me
Inside the power saving mode settings
Limit cpu usage to 70%

The restart issue still persists but frequency of restarts comes down.
