Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

Galaxy device slow internet issue: kindly follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.

Check your mobile data>Enable Mobile data:
Navigate to apps screen and tap on Settings>>Tap on Connections>>Tap on SIM card manager>>Tap on Mobile data>>Select the preferred SIM card from the drop-down.
Note: Preferred SIM should be inserted in SIM slot 1

Please follow the steps to enable data roaming (while in roaming)
Navigate to apps screen and tap on Settings>>Tap on Connections>>Tap on Mobile Networks>>Enable Data roaming.

Check mobile data limit
Every Android phone lets you set your own mobile data limits and warnings for when you’re about to reach your limit. These aren’t usually switched on by default, but maybe you set a limit previously, since the customer has upgraded his/her tariff, and have forgotten to update your mobile data limit accordingly.

To check this:
1. Go to “Settings > Connections > Data Usage > Mobile data usage” (depending on your device)
2. You’ll see a graph showing your data usage along with a whole bunch of settings. Make sure your data limits in the graph correspond with what your network allows by dragging the limit up or down in the graph.
3. Alternatively, you can turn off all data limits by uncheck the “Limit mobile data usage” box.

How to disable Mobile data limit
Navigate to apps screen and tap on Settings>>Tap on Connections>>Tap on Data usage>>Tap on Mobile data usage>>Tap on Settings>>Disable set data limit>> Data limit disabled

Reset and set new APN
Access Point Names (APNs) are the means by which your mobile network provider connects your phone to the mobile Internet. It sets up your phone with all the crucial settings like IP addresses and gateways to (hopefully) get you connected. However, this process sometimes can go wrong and require a reset.
Note: APN settings are set by network operators and not by Samsung. You need to contact your network operator and get the correct settings for your account.

How to Reset APN
Navigate to apps screen and tap on Settings>>Tap on Connections>>Tap on Mobile networks>>Tap on Access Point Name>>Tap on menu (three dots) then tap on Reset to defaults>>Tap on Reset.

How to set new APN
Navigate to apps screen and tap on Settings>>Tap on Connections>> Tap on Mobile networks>>Tap on Access Point Name>> Tap on ADD>>Tap on Name>> Enter the Name>>Tap on OK>> Tap on APN>> Enter the APN>> Tap on OK>>Tap on Menu>> Tap on Save.

Reset network settings
Go to Settings>>Tap on General management>>Tap on Reset>> Tap on Reset network settings>>Tap on Reset settings>>Unlock your screen (If you have previously set)>>Tap on Reset

Delete VPN Profile
Please follow the below given steps to delete VPN profile.
Path: Settings > Connections > VPN > Delete VPN Profile if available.
(Customer will see key icon in notification panel if VPN is activated).

Galaxy device slow charging issue: we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

Use a ''Genuine Samsung charger'' with your device
If you are using non-genuine Samsung charger, check device charging by using another Samsung genuine charger. (If available)
Note: We always recommend to use genuine Samsung charger for charging your device.

Check physical condition of USB cable
Check your charging cable (USB cable) for physical damage such as wear and tear, bent prongs etc. If it is damaged, then kindly visit your nearest service center to get it replaced.

Check charger functionality
Request you to check the charger functionality with a different device or try to charge the same device with a different charger.

If different device charging with the same charger:
It seems your charger is functioning, before getting into the mobile-related troubleshooting, I would like to know whether you are using a Samsung approved charger?
Note: We recommend our customers to use only Samsung approved chargers, as 3rd party chargers with different output rating may cause errors in the device.

If the device charging with different charger:
It seems there is an issue with your charger, kindly check the physical condition of your charger for any damage.
If damage: Issue might be because of the damage hence we request you to visit Samsung service center to get it replaced (Warranty not applicable).
If not damage: As we have tried with all possible troubleshooting and issue has not been resolved. I request you to visit the nearby service center along with your mobile and charger for a detailed inspection.

Check charging
If rating is 15W or above: Kindly try to charge the device in a non-inverter socket.
If you are using normal socket: As a safety measure Fast charging may not support, while you are using the device hence, request you to keep the device idle and check the charging performance.
Note: Kindly open Device care from settings > Battery > Please tap on three dots (more option) at the top right hand side > please select settings > enable fast cable charging.
For Android 11: Kindly open Device care from settings > tap on Battery > tap on More battery settings > Fast charging > Turn on.

Charge the device in switch off condition
Kindly follow the standard charging procedure. i.e; please charge the device in switch off condition for a minimum of 10 minutes.
If not resolved: (Removable battery) – Kindly remove the back panel of your device and check the physical condition (Bulge, Swelling or visible damage).
If the physical condition is not good: Request you to turn off the device immediately and please do not try to charge or tamper the battery also request you to visit the service center immediately.

Turn off Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc.
Turn off unused functions like Wi-fi, GPS, Bluetooth & Location settings when not using them.
Please follow the below steps:
Step1: On the home screen swipe down the notification panel.
Step2: Turn off Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and other connectivity features when not using them.

Close background running apps
''Multiple applications'' are running in the background of the device?
When running multiple applications, the processor processes more tasks and as a result, additional heat is released from the device. This happens with most electronic devices (even computers/laptops), including the devices of other manufacturers. Close all the background running apps when not using them.

Avoid usage of mobile phone during charging
Usage of the mobile phone when charging may cause slow charging issue. So we recommend you to avoid the usage of the mobile phone while charging.
