Notifications issue in M31

Even muted WhatsApp messages are also getting notified in M31. After turning off "call notifications" in app info -> notifications section, when call came, automatically that setting turned off. Samsung lowering it's brand value.

It's not app issue. I have checked in other mobiles. there is no such problem. only in Samsung M31 I am facing this problem.
The app notifications are not changing. only system notifications are changing. Because I have purchased Samsung mobile and their service is not satisfactory to me so I have every right to blame. please note I am pointing the problems. I am not unnecessarily blaming. Thankyou.

This problem sometimes happen in my other phone also but i won't blame that company. When there's such issue try to reinstall the app again. It will work.

Please be assured and to resolve "notification" issue kindly follow the given below steps:

1) Clear cache and data of watsapp data:-Settings >Apps >Menu (Three dots) >Show system apps >search and type "watsapp" >watsapp>Storage >Clear cache >Clear data >OK.

2) Reset the device: -Kindly create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.

Tap on Settings>Tap on General Management>Tap on Reset.

If the issue still persist, kindly register your concern in Samsung Members app (Samsung Members app > Get help > Feedback > Error report).
Note: Please send device log files within 15 minutes of issue occurrence along with the exact issue details.

all of my app notifications are on, but I still get something called "silent notifications" on my status bar. how do I get normal notifications with the ping?
