I'm facing some problems with VLC after I updated my phone to Android 12.

When I watch a playlist the first video plays perfectly. But next videos wouldn't play in the default aspect ratio. Its usually selected to 'best fit' option. From the 2nd video onwards the video runs in a weird aspect ratio and I have to manually change it for every video.

I use Poweramp Equalizer. It works perfectly for Spotify and other apps. But for VLC it's almost the same story. First video runs perfectly. But from 2nd video onwards there is no sound output. If I disable Poweramp the sound comes back.

I don't know how to fix this issue. I've uninstalled VLC, cleared cache, reinstalled (as Poweramp care suggested). But the problem persists. I tried to find solution in the VLC forum. But I couldn't find any thread on this topic.

If anyone know whether there is a fix please share. Thank you in advance.

That is not samsung fault the problem is VLC is not optimized for Android 12 so complain to VLC team so they can resolve your problem.

No i dont use VLC i use inbuilt video player and i am a web developer so i know something about apps development also so this is not mobile problem the problem is VLC team is not optimized for android 12 for samsung so try contact them once you might get a solution..

Thanks for the info. I'll try to contact the VLC team. But their bug reporting is not very straight forward.
