Galaxy MMany users — including me — faced serious issues right after the official update (boot loop, green line, motherboard failure, lag, etc.), and Samsung simply blames “usage pattern” instead of taking responsibility.
Every major update seems to bring new hardware or software problems, and customers are left to pay for expensive repairs even when the fault is update-related.
Honestly, it’s time customers start boycotting such practices. Choose brands that value user trust and don’t make you lose your hard-earned money over “policy” excuses.

Galaxy MThe Samsung Service Center diagnosed it as a motherboard failure, right after the update — which clearly shows it’s a software-induced issue, not normal wear and tear.
Samsung offered only 25% discount on repair, which I refused since the failure happened immediately after their own update.
I have already filed a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (Govt of India) —
Docket No: 8116319 — and I’m waiting for a fair, free-of-cost resolution.
Sharing this so other users are aware and back up their data before updating.
