Since last One UI update on 13 June 2025 Youtube link received via WhatsApp is not launching Youtube app. If the link is copied and pasted on youtube app then content plays. Please check and resolve.

Step 1: Re-enable Supported Links for YouTube

After updates, default app settings can sometimes reset. To ensure YouTube links open directly in the YouTube app:

1. Go to Settings > Apps > YouTube.


2. Tap on Set as default.


3. Toggle Open supported links to On.



This setting ensures that YouTube links open in the YouTube app by default.
