How to reduce temperature while charging?

Is it safe to put phone on a slightly water dampened cotton cloth while charging to reduce temperature??Friend suggested me the water condenses inside and might damage the device.Is it true?Nowadays it's too hot to left off while charging.Is there any other way to reduce temperature

Don't do that it may damage device because it's not safe to use cloth

Yes it damages if it's protected with a case then it damages nothing. While charging your phone turn off mobile data and wifi and in maximum cases try to charge your phone at early hours like from 5 to 7. Cause the climate is cool it reduces heating problem

PUT IT WITHOUT CASE COVER ON PLASTIC OR HARD SURFACE WHICH DON'T GET MOISTURE OR HEAT

Bro it's better to remove ur back cover and place phone in a dry cool place ..
If possible keep it under or near to a working fan ...
Also don't turn on mobile data , clear all apps in recent tabs ( background)..

This may help to some extent ..
