So, I have an M21, and recently it got RCS Message update for the Samsung Messages App.

When I tried to enable it for Google Messages, it says not available for the device. Does anyone know how to enable RCS in Google Messages.

Set google messages app as default message app, then force stop it from app info, then clear cache and data, then open this app and try to set up again...

Also try force stopping and clearing data and cache for samsung messages app. That might be the issue. When RCS is enabled in samsung messages, u won't be able to use it in google messages. So force stopping and clearing data of samsung messages should help...

Can't I have both of them active at the same time?

I was planning to use both apps for different numbers.

I'm sorry if my question is stupid :(

No. U can't use both at the same time, and also have RCS. That's a limitation with android. And clearing ur doubts is not stupid😁😊
