If you have a large number of apps on your phone, they will keep consuming valuable network resources. For example, gaming apps like PUBG can hog Internet speeds in the background. Therefore, you may want to completely block their Internet access. The idea is to be selective in allocating Internet to your choice of Android apps and switching it off when not in need.

Settings->Apps and select the app you want to block background data for.
In the App Info page, you can tap “Data usage” and here, enable “Restrict app background data”

for this no such option in Samsung either you have to use Samsung max vpn or any 3rd party app

Use Adguard app, you can restrict apps from using your data
