If you have a large number of apps on your phone, they will keep consuming valuable network resources. For example, gaming apps like PUBG can hog Internet speeds in the background. Therefore, you may want to completely block their Internet access. The idea is to be selective in allocating Internet to your choice of Android apps and switching it off when not in need.

Exactly. I used to be able to do it with my old Huawei and OnePlus. I find this to be a very basic but good security feature of apps that are a bit more sketchy than the mainstream.

I  am using 23 Ultra and am also annoyed without this option. if we select some application, 'mobile data only" also works within wifi. pity you Samsung.

Could you please provide some good third-party applications to restrict the internet for some applications?

The issue here is the absence of certain basic things like
1. Not able to block apps for internet
2. Not have app lock feature (don't suggest secure folder plz)
3. The samsung video player lacks a lot of feature that other media players have been providing for years now
