Dear samsung,
My mother has galaxy m52 phone and recently there are green lines appearing on it's display. There is no physical damage happen to the phone and yet the green lines appeared all of a sudden. I have gone to the service centre for inspection and they have told it will require screen replacement which will cost approximately8000 INR which is more than one third of original price. Moreover the warrenty period is only 90 days.
Upon researching on internet, it appears it is a manufacturing defect during the m52 production and various users face this issue.
I have called customer care and they told currently only S series phone displays are covered for this issue but the manufacturing defect is common regardless of M/A/S series. So why would other customer needs to bear the expense of quality assurance issue.

I myself was looking to buy a A series phone but it is difficult to trust on M/A series devices now.

Please help here and do the needful.

Yes. They only care for S series users, then why bother selling the other devices.

They told me I was the first person to report the green line issue on this model. However, on the same day, another lady reported the same issue, and they told her the same thing—that she was the first. Even if you've already replaced the display, no problem, you can still raise a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/), and we may get a solution.

It seems Samsung is telling everyone the same thing: "You're the first, you're the first."
