Galaxy m42 auto restart problem and wifi Hotspot not working. When ever I'm switching off and on my device than my phone is stock on or hang on logo and whenever I'm turning on wifi and Hotspot the problem is happening.

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

Galaxy device auto restart issue: kindly follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.

Kindly use genuine Samsung charger.
Note: We always recommend to use genuine Samsung charger for charging your device.

Disable auto restart function
There are two methods to disable auto restart function
Method 1: Navigate to apps screen and tap on Settings>>Tap on General management>>Tap on Reset>>Disable Auto restart (if enabled)>>Auto restart disabled.
Method 2: Go to "Settings">>Tap on "Battery and device care">> Tap on Three dots>> Tap on "Automation">>Disable "Auto restart at set times" if enabled

If you are facing this issue after installing any new application, then uninstall that application.
Please follow the below steps:
Navigate to apps screen and tap on Settings>>Tap on Apps>>Tap on desired app>>Tap on Uninstall>>Tap on OK.

Galaxy device hotspot issue: kindly perform some basic steps which should resolve the issue.

Disable the data saver:
Path: Settings > Connections >Data usage > Data saver > Disable data saver (if enabled)
Reset network settings:
Path: Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings
Reset settings:
Path: Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset all settings

You can reset your device by following the steps.
1. Kindly create a data backup of your device via the SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
2. Remember the Google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
3. If you do not remember then advise to reset (Forgot password) his/her Google account.

Path: Settings> General Management.>Reset>Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup>After backup tab on Factory data reset to reset your device to its factory default settings.
This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps.
