My mom's a15 5g also faces a similar problem
Without even inserting a wired headset it registers the jack to be functioning and speaker doesn't work at all
This glitch is not cleared even with multiple restart operations
Hence my recommendation would be to keep the mobile dry and out of moist areas as it may jam theheadset sensor

Basis your concern, please follow the below-mentioned quick steps, and your concern should be resolved by following these steps.

Disconnect all accessories
Disconnect anything plugged into the headphone jack like, a selfie stick, headphones, Bluetooth, etc.
Remove any third-party case, protective films, or any other accessory that usually comes in contact with your device. (If any)

Check device volume settings
Step 1: Navigate to the app's screen and tap on Settings.
Step 2: Tap on Sound & Vibration.
Step 3: Tap on Volume.
Step 4: Drag the volume adjustment bar left or right to increase or decrease the device volume
To verify, play music and check the music sound. If the sound quality is good, then your speaker is working fine.

Clear Sound picker data
Step1: Got to Settings
Step2: Apps
Step3: Filter and sort
Step4: Enable "Show system apps"
Step5: Tap "OK"
Step6: Search Sound Picker
Step7: Tap on Storage
Step 8: Clear data of the Sound picker.

Clear Sound Alive data
Step1: Got to Settings
Step2: Tap Apps
Step3: Tap Filter and sort
Step4: Tap Enable "Show system apps"
Step5: Tap "OK"
Step6: Search "Sound Alive"
Step7: Tap Storage
Step8: Tap Clear data

Clear Adapt sound data
Step1: Got to Settings
Step2: Tap Apps
Step3: Tap Filter and sort
Step4: Enable "Show system apps"
Step5: Tap "OK"
Step6: Search "Adapt Sound"
Step7: Tap Storage
Step8: Tap Clear data

Reset app preferences
Step1: Got to Settings
Step2: Tap Apps
Step3: Tap Three dots (Appearing at the top right corner)
Step4: Tap Reset app preferences (It will reset the permissions of all applications)
Step5: Tap Reset

Increase the call volume:

Ensure that the volume on your device has been set to the highest level during a voice call. You can also try tapping on the speaker to see if this improves the call volume.

During a voice call, press the volume button of your device, to open volume settings.
Tap and drag the call volume bar to the left or right to increase the call volume.

Disable the "Mute all sounds" feature if enabled:

Step 1: Navigate to the app's screen and tap on Settings.
Step 2: Tap on Accessibility
Step 3: Tap on Hearing enhancements.
Step 4: Disable Mute all sounds if enabled.
