I faced frequent auto restart problem in last 3 days. Whether it is software problem or hardware problem. Anyone give some clarity.

If your phone is heating up excessively , it has every right to auto restart. If this is not the case, boot in safe mode and see if the problem persists otherwise go for a reset.

No its working normally. The display gets some lag then it restarts. Sometime the phone get stuck in samsung galaxy m31 logo. After full battery drain I try switch on the phone

I reset my phone. After that also i face the same issue. My phone is galaxy m31

Then please go to service centre. Might be a hardware issue.

Try these steps it might help

Turn off your device-
Recovery mode me jaane ke 3 steps.
Choose any of these
Connect c type earphones or connect your device with laptop make sure your laptop is on .
Press and hold power button and volume up button .
When android logo appears release thes keys . Then tap on wipe cache partition and then tap on reboot system now. If problem persist do the following steps to enter in recovery mode and then do hard reset and make sure to take backup of your device
And if still the problem isn't solved then you need to go to service center authorized one .

Many of my friends using m series facing these same issues in past few days. What is the reason for this sudden cause?

I think its a motherboard issue put by samsung using bad quality boards. One solution is to change motherboard and use it for another year
2nd switch to another brand
3rd go to consumer court to lodge a complaint against samsung as this is a widespread issue and only comes after phones warranty is over
